Starting 17 May 2021, the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai is running a one-month trial period for larger size events and concerts to take place, provided attendees can show legitimate proof of having been vaccinated.  This applies to residents and tourists alike.

Event sizes will be restricted to 1500 persons for indoor events and 2500 persons for outdoor events.

Further easing of restrictions include Dubai Restaurants being allowed to seat up to 10 persons at a  table, whilst cafes may seat up to 6 persons per table. In both cases, maintaining a distance of 2 meters between tables and observing social distancing is still a requirement.
