For lovers of all that is traditional and cultural, we invite you to experience the wonderful Pearl Farm in Ras Al Khaimah.  The tradition of pearl-diving is synonymous with Emirati culture, wherein pearl-diving and trading held an important economic place.

Belonging to a local Emirati family, the Al Suwaidi Pearl Farm is now open for visitors to enjoy six days of the week.  The floating structure in the mangroves of Al Rams area can be reached by boat and tours can be booked for a minimum of 2, and a maximum of 4 hours.

The boat tour includes a ride through the mangroves, where you can see camels, flamingoes, turtles (depending on the season) and other local birds. It is then followed by a wonderful presentation of the history of the Arabian pearls as well as an introduction to pearl cultivation and a live demonstration.

At the end, enjoy some traditional tea and light refreshments on board the platoon (floating structure) or perhaps a home-cooked Emirati meal, if you so desire.
